Metropolitan governments shaping EU Urban policy

On the occasion of the respective 15th and 10th anniversary of the European Week of Regions and Cities and of the European Local Democracy WeekALDA and its partners organise two workshops in Brussels:
"Metropolitan governments shaping EU Urban policy"
11 October from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, in Brussels at the premises of Apulia Region, Rue du Trone 62
The event will focus on:
  • Challenges such as mobility, environmental quality, governance, territorial cohesion
  • EU urban policy at a metropolitan level
  • Key metropolitan priorities for the metropolitan European Agenda

"YouthMetre – an innovative tool for e-participation of youngsters across Europe"
12 October from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, at the Interdiocesaan Centrum, Rue Guimard 1, Brussels
The main topics during this event will be:
  • Promotion of the cooperation between young people and policy makers
  • Improvement of youth policies at local, regional, national and European level
  • Promotion of youth involvement in order to get youth friendly initiatives in their regions
